Taffy Games ("we", "us", or "our") is an independent game developer. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you play our games, how it is used, and the choices you have.

In short: we do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location. Our games use trusted Google services (Firebase and Google Play Billing, plus Google AdMob in games that show ads) that may automatically collect limited device and usage information to improve the game, process purchases, and show ads.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
Our games do not have user accounts and do not ask you to enter personal information. If you contact us by email, we will receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically
When you play our games, the third-party services described below may automatically collect:
- Device identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID and Firebase app instance ID
- Device information, such as device model, operating system version, language, and screen size
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (country or city level, not precise GPS location)
- Gameplay and usage data, such as levels played, session length, and in-game events
- Diagnostic data, such as crash logs and performance information
- Ad interaction data, in games that show ads, such as which ads were shown or tapped
- Purchase records, such as which in-app items were bought (see Section 3)
Our games do not access your contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone, or precise location.
2. How We Use Information
- To run the game and deliver the items you purchase
- Where a game includes ads, to show advertisements that help keep it free
- To understand how players use our games so we can fix bugs and improve gameplay
- To detect crashes, fraud, and abuse
- To respond to your support requests
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-Party Services
Our games use the following services where they apply to a given game. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
Google AdMob (advertising, in games that show ads)
AdMob shows ads and may use your Advertising ID, IP address, and device information to deliver, measure, and (where permitted) personalize ads. Google Firebase (analytics, crash reporting, and remote configuration)
Firebase helps us understand gameplay, find technical problems, and adjust game settings without an update. It may collect app instance IDs, the Advertising ID, device information, usage events, and crash data. Learn more: Privacy and Security in Firebase.
Google Play Billing (in-app purchases)
All in-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card details. We only receive information needed to confirm and deliver your purchase, such as the item purchased and an order identifier. Learn more: Google Payments Privacy Notice.
4. Ad Personalization and Your Choices
- Consent: if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, games that show ads will ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the game's settings where that option is offered, or by contacting us.
- Opt out of personalized ads: on Android, open Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads) to reset or delete your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization. You will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.
- Stop all collection: you can stop all data collection by our games at any time by uninstalling them.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Because our games do not have accounts, we do not keep a profile linked to your name or email. Data held by Google services is retained according to their own retention periods (for example, Firebase Analytics data is kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically).
Game progress is saved on your device and is removed when you uninstall the game or clear its data.
To request deletion of data associated with your device, email us at support@taffygames.com with the game name. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
Our games are suitable for all ages but are not directed primarily at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or California privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@taffygames.com.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, and the services we rely on use industry-standard security, including encryption in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. International Transfers
Our third-party service providers may process information on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. These providers apply appropriate safeguards as described in their own privacy policies.
10. Our Website
Our website, taffygames.com, does not use accounts, advertising, or analytics cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare and loads fonts from Google Fonts, so these providers may process your IP address and basic browser information in order to deliver the site.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our games after an update means you accept the revised policy.
